So, I was drying my hair yesterday and being the klutz that I am, dropped it. When it hit the ground, I saw a flash, and the power went out in the bathroom. I then went on a hunt for the fuse box. I searched high (in the attic) and I searched low (in the crawl space) but could not find the damn fuse box. Thankfully, even though the power was out in the kitchen the fridge was still running. When I got home, my search resumed, but to no avail. In desperation, I asked my neighbor, who said his was in the garage. However, mine was not in my garage but he was messing around with the meter, and lo and behold, they were actually a part of it. I’ve never seen this before, and I question the judgment of placing the fuses outside the house. Now I’m vulnerable to those situations that you see in the movies. I’m sitting alone in my house, watching TV, when someone cuts the power. Then it’s a bunch of running and screaming, and it ends up with me lying in a pool of my own blood.
Who puts the fuse box outside the house?

Since you live in Kal-eee-for-nee-ah, the building codes dictate that your house must be ever prepared for any Hollywood encounters.
You could always trade meter fuse boxes and ridable winters for normal fuse boxes and Ohio winters.

I don’t think so, my neighbor’s fusebox was inside.
