jUploadr 0.3.5

I released jUploadr 0.3.5,
The highlights include :

Compiles and runs under java 1.5
Improved error handling
Image decorations
Authentication caching

I also made different versions for different architectures, so if you’re on windows, or have a 64 bit AMD, you can download a version tailored to your system.

One of my co-workers sent me a link about the 25 most and least expensive places to live in the US. Cleveland was the 23rd least expensive place to live, and San Francisco was the eleventh most expensive place to live. That probably explains the dwindling bank account.

I got some help from John Hume who was so kind as to add threading to the uploader. He also reports it works on windows, though I don’t have the dlls yet.
I added a progress bar, pre-emptive authorization and a couple performance tweaks.

Yay, I have pictures

I finally have pictures again. Using jUploadr I uploaded some pictures to flickr. Then I found this wordpress plugin that gives me galleries again! I had to change a little of the source, but I got it working and am really happy with the results.

I created a project on sourceforge for jUploadr, and hacked together crude proxy support. I haven’t tested it (I don’t have a proxy at home or at work) but all I did was enable it on HttpClient, so any testing would be appreciated.
To enable proxies run

./jUploadr -proxy
