It’s funny what you overhear when in a store. I went to Circuit City last night to buy a network hub, as I plugged the wrong power supply into my old one and fried it. So as I’m walking out, I overhear one of the sales guys giving the pitch to a woman looking at a computer. He’s explaining what spyware is, and saying “At Circuit City, we have software called SpyBlocker, which, for thirty dollars a year will keep your computer free of any malicious programs”.
All the while, I’m thinking “Or, you could just download firefox for free, and never worry about it”.
It sucks to be a newbie.

Meanwhile, I got my kitchen all packed up, now all I have left are the bedroom, the computer room and the living room. Oh, and the garage.
