Well, the trip begins.
The movers are coming tomorrow at 8:30 to start packing my stuff. I don’t know how long they’ll take, but I should be all packed up by the afternoon. Then on Saturday, I begin my drive out west. I think I’m going to take about a week to leisurely stroll across the country, but I might take more or less time… it depends on how I feel.
So this is it for me and Cleveland, and after the last election, the only thing I hope for Ohio is that enough people leave this god-forsaken state to make it’s electoral clout weaken.
I’m livid at the prospect of four more years under this administration, but at least I’ll be spending them in a very blue state. Hell, I’m practically a Conservative out there.
So, I guess it’s goodbye to Cleveland. It’s not a terrible place, and I leave behind many great friends and memories. It’s tough to go, but I’m ready. It’s something that I’ve been wanting to do for years now, and I finally have a chance.
Time to take the plunge.
